It’s finally here, the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home and it has been a revelation for people wanting to know more about the upcoming movie and spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. There are two different versions of the trailer that are ever so slightly different and you can check them out here and here. Without further ado, here’s 5 things you missed in the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer.
Ned has a girlfriend
Spider-Man: Far From Home looks like it will have a little more romance than Homecoming did. The relationship between Michelle (MJ) and Peter is clearly going to be explored based on this trailer but did you notice Ned got himself a girlfriend between this and the last Spider-Man film? Perhaps Ned’s newfound love interest is what gets Peter thinking about his relationship with Michelle (MJ).
Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Happy Hogan and Maria Hill Survive Avengers: Endgame
Far From Home is confirmed to be set (minutes?) after the end of Avengers: Endgame so we know that all the characters that appear in this trailer are likely to have survived whatever unfolds during Avengers: Endgame. That includes Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Happy Hogan and Maria Hill. Tony Star/Iron Man is conspicuous by his absence but that is clearly done on purpose. We all knew already that Spider-Man was coming back.
Peter Parker will get at least two new suits in this movie
As well as the pretty cool looking red and black spider suit, this trailer confirms the black stealth-style suit that has been rumored for a while. It’s a fairly safe bet that this will be something to do with the work Peter is doing with Nick Fury and SHIELD. After all, everyone else there dresses entirely in black.
Nick Fury and Spider-Man don’t meet in Avengers: Endgame
“So nice to finally meet you, Spider-Man” are the exact words out of Nick Fury’s mouth – so this must surely mean that during the events of Avengers: Endgame, the two of them, don’t meet at all. Seems a little hard to believe, I’m calling shenanigans.
Aunt May is ok with Peter being Spider-Man
You may remember that at the end of Homecoming, Aunt May discovered Peter taking his spider suit off. Throughout this trailer it looks like she is actively encouraging him to be Spider-Man, as well as using Spider-Man to help her own cause with an appearance at her event near the start of the trailer.
